Rightmove redesigns website

Take a look at the new Rightmove, which some argue is a response to the growing threat of the new players in property search. The one thing Rightmove has - that all the other players want - is traffic, a captive audience and a huge marketing budget (actually that's three things). What Rightmove lacks and most of the other players have is the ability to innovate - and to innovate quickly

or to innovate at all - so used to having one search box as offered by us, dothomes, nestoria, zoomf etc that I lost interest after the 1st page. couldn't be bothered to learn interface and try and find my way around their search....

Too little too late. I hope their share price continues to plummet and that the new guys finally have a chance to make a serious impact.

Rightmove is much too complicated! As a small investor that goes through 300 listings a day on property portals the best sites remain, www.findaproperty.com, www.london-executive.com and www.propertyfinder.com

Peter,
Thank you for your comments. We hope to hear from you again. I'm curious as to what your thoughts are on some of the newer vertical search engines such as dothomes.co.uk, nestoria.co.uk and zoomf.com. have you tried any of these search engines and do they work for you as small investor? dothomes, nestoria and oodle all offer valuation 'widgets' and graphs that you may also find useful
